A surround vision apparatus comprises at least one screen, at least one loud speaker, a plurality of projectors and a processor, wherein the at least one screen substantially encloses a space, and wherein the plurality of projectors project images onto the said at least one screen such that the said images may be viewed from within the said enclosed space, and wherein the processor synchronises the projection of images onto the or each screen such that the images are perceived by the viewer as being uninterrupted.

L'invention concerne un appareil de vision périphérique comprenant au moins un écran, au moins un haut-parleur, une pluralité de projecteurs et un processeur, le ou les écrans délimitant sensiblement un espace clos et la pluralité de projecteurs projetant des images sur ledit écran ou lesdits écrans de sorte que lesdites images peuvent être visionnées depuis l'intérieur dudit espace clos, et le processeur synchronisant la projection d'images sur l'écran ou sur chaque écran de sorte que les images sont perçues par l'observateur en tant qu'images ininterrompues.
