Abstract A suspended bag which separates the packaging of two different materials. The interior space of the suspended bag is subdivided into two chambers by a horizontally extending welded or bonded seam, and the top of the suspended bag has a centrally arranged suspending means. The two chambers are comprised of a relatively smaller upper chamber and a relatively larger lower chamber. Each of the two chambers forms a horizontally aligned rectangle having a horizontal side length which is substantially longer than the vertical side length thereof. The suspended bag is particularly suitable for packaging salad dressings and the like where one component is a solid material, such as finely comminuted herbs, and the other is a liquid, such as a mixture of oil, water and spices.
