ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Two or more lamp shades are suspended from the ceiling, each by its own electrical cord which is connected to a light bulb socket within the lamp shade. Each lamp shade has vertically spaced steps and perforated plates surround both lamp shades and rest on the steps. The lamp shades and plates form a stable assembly and yet the plates can be lifted and retained along the cords for fixture cleaning or repair. The lighting fixture has an esthetics appeal and is designed especially for halogen light bulbs.
