A packaging machine has a partition inserter (32) and selecting apparatus (34) suspended above a flow of articles (8) and mounted to an inner frame (40) which can be raised or lowered to adjust the spacing between the partition inserter and selecting apparatus relative to the articles. The partition inserter and selecting apparatus are mounted to the inner frame on guide rails (43) for lateral displacement to a position over a maintenance deck (90), and are releasably engaged to each other for maintenance access. The packaging machine preferably has three pairs of partition inserters and selecting apparatus suspended over the articles in staggered arrangement, and each pair is accurately positioned to a desired location with a semi- automatic adjustment system.
Machine d'emballage pourvue d'une machine (32) d'insertion d'intercalaires et d'un dispositif de sélection (34) suspendus au-dessus d'un flux d'articles (8) et montés sur un cadre intérieur (40) qui peut être relevé ou abaissé pour régler l'écartement entre la machine d'insertion d'intercalaires et le dispositif de sélection par rapport aux articles. La machine d'insertion d'intercalaires et le dispositif de sélection sont montés sur le cadre intérieur sur des glissières de guidage (43) pour pouvoir être déplacés latéralement jusqu'à une position surplombant un poste d'entretien (90), et sont engagés l'un dans l'autre de manière amovible pour permettre l'accès du personnel d'entretien. La machine d'emballage a de préférence trois paires de machines d'insertion d'intercalaires et de dispositifs de sélection suspendus en quinconce au-dessus des articles, chaque paire étant positionnée avec précision à un endroit souhaité grâce à un système de réglage semi-automatique.
