ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The specification describes a device for containing refuse, including a container having a refuse receiving and discharge opening, a cover overlying the opening and pivotally connected to the container, and means for supporting the container above ground level for free swinging movement in a stable, normally upright position. The container is pivotable relative to the support means about a generally horizontal axis extending through the container upon application to the container about the axis for discharging the container.
