ABSTRACT The suspension device for furniture comprises a housing (1) and a supporting element (3) that can be adjusted both horizontally and vertically and which is supported therein so as to be moveable. The supporting element (3) can be adjusted relative to the housing (l) by means of a horizontal adjusting screw (12). Vertical adjustment can be effected by means of a vertical adjustment screw (16). In order to prevent complete separation from the supporting element and the horizontal adjusting screw (12), this horizontal adjusting screw (12) is provided at one end with an unthreaded section (14) and the threaded section (13) is no longer in engagement with the internal thread (6) of the supporting element (3) if the supporting element (3) is in an end position within the housing (1).
