ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Suspension file folder in which index tabs are detachably connectible in several differing positions to a track secured to the upper edge of one side-sheet of the folder. The index tabs engage in an upwardly open slot in the track by means of downwardly projecting attachment members which are resilient in a plane parallel to the principal plane of the track. The slot is continuous and extends along the entire length of the track element and has two sidewalls formed by the track, and there are several catch elements disposed along the length of the slot between the sidewalls. The catch elements cooperate with the attachment members to form snap fastenings.
