The present invention relates to suspension formulations, especially those for delivering a pharmaceutically active agent in aerosol form using a spray or aerosol device, such as a pressurised metered dose inhaler (pMDI). The formulations may be for pulmonary, nasal, buccal or topical administration, but are preferably for pulmonary inhalation. The suspension fomulation comprises particles of active agent, a propellant one or more suspension stabiliser (amino acid, leucine, saccharide, disaccharide, trehalose) and/or a co-solvent (alcohol, ethanol).
La présente invention concerne des formulations pour suspensions, notamment celles destinées à administrer un principe pharmaceutiquement actif sous forme aérosol en utilisant un dispositif pulvérisateur ou aérosol, par exemple un inhalateur doseur sous pression (pMDI). Les formulations peuvent être administrées par voie pulmonaire, nasale, buccale ou topique mais elles sont de préférence adaptées à une inhalation pulmonaire.
