ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Suspension of a travel gear of a vehicle for rugged terrain, comprising a vehicle frame, a secondary axle supported by the frame, a primary axle adapted for idle rotation around the secondary axle, and a travel gear having a travelling sur- face of rotational shape supported by the primary axle. The secondary axle is at an acute angle with respect to the primary axle, and extends askew relative to a reference plane perpen- dicular to a horizontal support and parallel to the longitudi- nal axis of the vehicle, at least one of the axles forming with the reference plane an acute angle.
