Process for preparing antistatic acrylic polymers wherein the acrylic monomers are polymerized in suspension, said acrylic monomers contain dissolved the antistatic additives selected from the following ones: (1) C n H2n+1CO-N (CH2CH2OH)2 wherein n is an integer ranging from 9 to 13; (2) C n H 2n'+1N(CH2CH2OH)2 wherein n' is an integer ranging from 8 to 14; (3) CH2(OR1)CH(OR2)CH2(OR3) or C(CH2OR1)(CH2OR2)(CH2OR3)(CH2OR4) wherein R1, R2, R3, R4 equal to or different from each other, are H or R, wherein R is a saturated or unsaturated C12-C18 alkylcarboxylate, preferably saturated or monounsaturated C18.
