The present invention provides a swimming aid apparatus and more specifically to a foot-mounted swim fin, such as those used by scuba divers, snorkelers, and the like. In particular, the invention provides an improved foot-mounted swim fin with a lower leg binding that provides greater thrust whilst lowering the strain imposed upon the ankle joint.
