ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A swimming pool filtering system of the type having a series con- nected strainer, pump and filter is provided with a pump drive motor having two sets of stator windings for allowing the selection of one of two water circulation rates to achieve more efficient pool water maintenance. A spec- ific circulation rate may be manually selected or periods of selected circul- ation rates nay be automatically programmed using a motor stator that is en- ergized through a timer.
