Abstract of the disclosure The floor or a section of the floor of a planetarium, together with the seats, can be swung on a horizontal pivot or swivel shaft between a horizontal position for a planetarium display and an oblique position for wide-angle projection during the display. In order that the seats and seat platforms nevertheless remain at all times horizontal, a second swivel shaft is provided vertically below the swivel axis for the floor, for a truss or brace which is connected in parallelogram-like manner with the floor by vertical struts. The seats and seat platforms are rigidly secured to the struts.
