262184-7/ ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION/ The object of the present invention is swinging and tilting hardware suitable for operation by one hand, for a window or the like, said hardware--with the exception of an operating handle that has position-locking detents--being installed so as to be concealed between the window frame and the window casement, with at least one lock consisting of a casement side locking pin and a frame side striker plate, with a tilting system that is associated with the lower cross member of the window frame, with a lower swinging-tilting hinge and with an upper swinging hinge that works in conjunction with a lock-out lever system. The invention is characterized by an encircling flat strip (5) in a guide groove (4) in the window casement (3), said guide groove being provided with corner guides (7), said flat strip (5) being connected permanently to a follower pin (17) for the operating handle (15), the lock pin (29) of the lock (8), a bolt (42) of the tilting system (9) and a lock (14) for the lock-out lever system (12).
