Abstract of the Disclosure The invention relates to a switch cabinet for equipment modules, each of which carries a wedge. When its carrier is pushed into the switch cabinet, the wedge is adapted to be engaged under a busbar cover and to be lifted along the busbars. The busbar cover is arranged between a duct baffle and the busbars. Furthermore, the busbar cover, when lifted, exposes an aperture located under the duct baffle, through which aperture the wedge and contact parts of the equipment module are adapted to be inserted into the busbar duct.
