The invention relates to a switchgear (1) comprising at least one input terminal (2) and at least one output terminal (3) for connecting electrical conductors, and a first switching contact (4) and a second switching contact, said switching contacts closing, in a closed position, a current path between the input terminal (2) and the output terminal (3). A separating device is provided for separating the first switching contact (4) and the second switching contact, and a short-circuit release device (7) is mechanically actively connected to the separating device (5) in order to trigger same. The short-circuit release device (7) is arranged in the region of the at least one input terminal (3). According to the invention, in order to obtain a constructively simple structure, the short-circuit release device (7) comprises at least one U-shaped yoke (8) and a mobile hinged armature (9).

L'invention concerne un dispositif de commutation (1) comprenant au moins une borne d'entrée (2) et au moins une borne de sortie (3) destinées à connecter des conducteurs électriques; un premier contact de commutation (4) et un second contact de commutation, lesdits contacts de commutation fermant, en position fermée, un circuit de courant entre la borne d'entrée (2) et la borne de sortie (3). Un dispositif de séparation (5) permet de séparer le premier contact de commutation (4) et le second contact de commutation et un dispositif de déclenchement de court-circuit (7) est mécaniquement et fonctionnellement relié au dispositif de séparation (5) afin de déclencher ce dernier, le dispositif de déclenchement de court-circuit (7) étant situé dans la zone de la borne d'entrée (3). Selon l'invention, afin d'obtenir une structure simple, le dispositif de déclenchement de court-circuit (7) comprend au moins une culasse en forme de U (8) et une armature basculante mobile (9).
