The invention relates to a switching device (1), preferably a power switch, comprising at least one in-put terminal (2) and at least one output terminal (3) for connecting electrical conductors, and a first switching con-tact (4) and a second switching contact (5), said switching contacts (4, 5) closing, in a closed position, a current path between the input terminal (2) and the output terminal (3). An overcurrent release device is provided for separating the first switching contact (4) and the second switching contact (5), said overcurrent release device (6) comprising at least one bimetal element (7) which is heated by the electrical current conduction. In order to improve the preci-sion and the degree of reproducibility of the triggering of the switching device, and the adjustment of the overcurrent release device, at least one heat insulator (9) is arranged in the region of a fixing point (8) of the bimetal element (7), in order to reduce the heat dissipation from the bimetal ele-ment (7).
L'invention concerne un commutateur, de préférence un disjoncteur, qui comprend au moins une borne d'entrée (2) et au moins une borne de sortie (3) pour la connexion de conducteurs électriques, ainsi qu'un premier contact de commutation (4) et un second contact de commutation (5). Lorsqu'ils sont en position fermée, les contacts de commutation (4, 5) ferment un circuit de courant entre la borne d'entrée (2) et la borne de sortie (3). Un dispositif de déclenchement à maximum de courant (6) sépare le premier contact de commutation (4) du second contact de commutation (5), ce dispositif de déclenchement à maximum de courant (6) comprenant au moins un bilame (7) qui est chauffé par le courant électrique. Pour améliorer la précision du degré de reproductibilité du déclenchement du commutateur, ainsi que de l'ajustement du dispositif de déclenchement à maximum de courant (6), il est proposé qu'au moins un isolant thermique (9) soit placé dans une zone de fixation (8) du bilame (7) afin de réduire la dissipation de chaleur à partir du bilame (7).
