ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A switching device having a casing of plastic material with at least two parallel pivots forming pivot pins for contact members. Each pivot consists of an assembly of at least two por- tions one of which is in the form of an anchoring base incorporated in the casing during molding and which is provided with a centering hole for engagement during molding with a centering pin which forms a part of the mold. After molding a second portion of the pivot in the form of a stud is positioned in a bore in the anchoring base. This provides precise parallelism and positioning of the parallel pivots and secure fastening to the casing.
