ABSTRACT An improved swivel seat pedestal is disclosed. The pedestal has a swivel plate rotatable about a pivot pin secured to a fixed base plate. Two bearing clamps are secured to the underside of the swivel plate and extend under the base plate to add lateral, bending, and torsional stability to the pedestal. A stop clamp is mounted under the base plate to limit rotation of the swivel plate to a predetermined range.
