A flexible socket (10) has a plug (12) revolvable therein for conducting electric power. The plug (12) mechanically supports in a desired orientation an appliance (14) receiving power from the plug (12). A central releasable latching mechanism (16) allows partial or total withdrawal of the plug. Partial withdrawal is used to change the support angle of the appliance (14). Total withdrawal is used to transfer the appliance (14) to another location.

L'invention concerne un support souple (10) comprenant un connecteur (12) pouvant tourner dans celui-ci et permettant de conduire de l'énergie électrique. Le connecteur (12) supporte mécaniquement un appareil (14) recevant de l'énergie en provenance du connecteur (12) dans une orientation souhaitée. Un mécanisme de blocage libérable central (16) permet le retrait partiel ou total du connecteur. Le retrait partiel est utilisé pour changer l'angle de support de l'appareil (14). Le retrait total est utilisé pour transférer l'appareil (14) à un autre emplacement.
