ABSTRACT The simplest kinds of boat are supplied with power and direction either by hand (using oars) or by a combin- ation of hand and motor (using tiller and outboard). In this invention, the power and direction already inherent in a motorcycle (and by implication some other land-based vehicles) is made available for the operation of a boat by means of an adaptor board that transfers rear-wheel drive to a propellor and front- wheel pivot to a rudder. This device, hereinafter referred to as a SYMMARINE DRIVE BOARD, creates the potential for novel land-and-water recreational and logistical transportation at reasonable cost.
