ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to a synchro drive system which includes a synchro unit having stator windings and an energized rotor. Data, indicative of the desired position of the synchro unit, is generated and applied to a comparator to com- pare the actual position of the synchro unit with the data. A switching selectively interconnects the stator windings of the synchro unit. The switch is controlled by comparator to effect interconnections that drive the rotor in a direction to reduce the difference between the actual position and the data.
