Abstract of the Disclosure A vinyl halide resin stabilizer composition which essentially contains: (a) an antimony organic sulfur-containing compound, for example, antimony mercaptoacid esters, antimony alkyl mer- captides, and the like, (b) an alkaline earth metal salt of a carboxylic acid, such as calcium stearate, and (c) an alkali metal carbonate, such as sodium carbonate. These compositions synergistically contribute to the dynamic processing stability of vinyl halide resin compositions. Rigid polyvinyl chloride compositions are stabilized against dynamic processing conditions of heat and shearing forces.
