The object of the invention is the manufacture of 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane (CF3CH2CHF2) by fluorination of 1,1,1,3,3-pentachloropropane (CCl3CH2CHCl2) with anhydrous hydrofluoric acid (HF). The reaction occurs in two stages: the first, in the gas phase, yields essentially 1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene (CF3CH=CHCl), and the second, in the liquid phase, transforms the 1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene into 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane.
L'invention a pour objet la fabrication du 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane (CF3CH2CHF2) par fluoration du 1,1,1,3,3-pentachloropropane (CCl3CH2CHCl2) avec de l'acide fluorhydrique anhydre (HF). La réaction est réalisée en deux étapes: la première en phase gaz fournit essentiellement le 1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropène (CF3CH=CHCl) et la seconde en phase liquide permet de transformer le 1-chloro-3,3, 3-trifluoropropène en 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane.
