The invention relates to a novel chemical route to 3,4-diaryl-4,5-dihydro-(1H)- pyrazole-1-carboxamidine deriva-tives, known as potent cannabinoid-CB1 receptor antagonists, and to novel intermediates of these compounds. The synthetic route produced considerably higher yields than those reported, without the use of corrosive reagents. The process concerns the prepara-tion of a compound of formula (I) wherein the symbols have the meanings given in the description.
La présente invention concerne une nouvelle voie chimique pour obtenir des dérivés de 3,4-diaryl-4,5-dihydro-(1H)-pyrazole-1-carboxamidine, connus pour être de puissants antagonistes du récepteur cannabinoïde-CB1, et de nouveaux intermédiaires de ces composés. La voie synthétique a produit des rendements considérablement plus importants que ceux rapportés, sans lutilisation de réactifs corrosifs. Le procédé concerne la préparation dun composé de formule (I) dans laquelle les symboles ont la signification indiquée dans la description.
