F-5840(5842) SYNTHESIS OF CRYSTALLINE ALUMINOPHOSPHATE COMPOSITION ABSTRACT Crystalline aluminophosphate compositions having pore windows formed by 18 tetrahedral members and a pore size in excess of 10 Angstrom are prepared from a forming mixture containing sources of aluminum, phosphorus and optionally, silicon and/or at least one metal M, e.g. boron. The forming mixture further contains a directing agent comprising a mixture of quaternary nitrogen compound and amine in a molar ratio of 0.01 to 0.025. The resulting product exhibits greater stability than compositions made from an amine directing agent alone.
