Disclosed is an improvement in a method of making a water-soluble epichlorohydrin resin involving reacting epichlorohydrin with a polyaminoamide. The improvement involves preparing the polyaminoamide in the presence of an acid catalyst (low temperature condensation) followed by reaction with apichlorohydrin.

Amélioration de la méthode permettant d'obtenir une résine d'épichlorhydrine hydrosoluble par réaction de l'épichlorhydrine avec un polyaminoamide. L'amélioration consiste à préparer le polyaminoamide en présence d'un catalyseur acide (condensation à basse température), préparation suivie de la réaction avec l'épichlorhydrine.
