Pharmacological inhibition of fatty acid amide hydrolase (FAAH) activity leads to increased levels of fatty acid amides. The alkylcarbamic acid aryl ester of Formula (I), KDS-4103, is a FAAH inhibitor. Described herein is a process for the preparation of the compound of Formula (I), characterization of polymorphs of the FAAH inhibitor, and their uses therof.
Selon l'invention, l'inhibition pharmacologique de l'activité amide d'acide gras-hydrolase (Fatty Acid Amide Hydrolase : FAAH) conduit à l'augmentation des taux des amides d'acide gras. L'ester arylique de l'acide alkylcarbamique de formule (I), KDS-4103, est un inhibiteur de la FAAH. La présente invention concerne un procédé de préparation du composé de formule (I), la caractérisation des polymorphes de l'inhibiteur de la FAAH et leurs utilisations.
