The present invention provides for a synthetic closure, in particular a synthetic wine closure, for a product retaining container constructed for being inserted and securely retained in a portal forming neck of said container, said closure comprising at least one thermoplastic polymer and at least one fatty acid derivative. With the present invention it is possible to provide a synthetic closure that has a foam density of less than about 350 kg/m3, in particular less than about 300 kg/m3, and - at the same time - an oxygen transfer rate (OTR) as determined by Mocon measurement using 100% oxygen of less than about 0.025 cc/day/closure, in particular less than about 0.015 cc/day/closure.
La présente invention porte sur un bouchon synthétique, en particulier, sur un bouchon synthétique pour vin, destiné à un contenant de conservation de produit. Le bouchon est élaboré pour être inséré et fermement maintenu dans un col servant d'accès audit contenant, ledit bouchon comprenant au moins un polymère thermoplastique et au moins un dérivé d'acide gras. Grâce à la présente invention, il est possible d'élaborer un bouchon synthétique qui a une densité de mousse inférieure à environ 350 kg/m3, et, en particulier, inférieure à environ 300 kg/m3, et, en même temps, un taux de transfert d'oxygène (OTR), déterminé par une mesure de Mocon utilisant 100 % d'oxygène, inférieur à environ 0,025 cm3/jour/bouchon, et, en particulier, inférieur à environ 0,015 cm3/jour/bouchon.
