L'invention concerne la fabrication de gaz de synthèse selon laquelle on réalise à l'intérieur d'une même enveloppe : une combustion partielle dans une chambre de combustion non catalytique, une mise en contact des gaz de combustion avec un élément catalytique, une injection complémentaire de comburant dans le lit catalytique. Selon l'invention, on prévoit un contact direct maximal entre les gaz de combustion et une surface du lit catalytique afin de réduire la formation des suies.
