Compounds are disclosed which have formula (I) wherein R1-R2 are each independently selected from the group consisting of: (a) a hydrogen atom; and (b) a lower alkyl group, straight or branched chain, having 1 to 8 carbon atoms; or R1-R2 and the nitrogen atom to which they are bonded may together form a heterocyclic group; R3-R10 are each independently selected from the group consisting of: (a) a hydrogen atom; (b) an alkyl group, straight or branched chain, having 1 to 24 carbon atoms; (c) a cycloalkyl group having 3 to 10 carbon atoms; (d) an alkenyl group, straight or branched chain, having 2 to 24 carbon atoms; (e) a cycloalkenyl group having 4 to 10 carbon atoms and one or more non-adjacent double bonds; (f) an aryl group having 6 to 10 carbon atoms; (g) an aralkyl group having 7 to 34 carbon atoms; (h) a heteroaryl group having 4 to 9 carbon atoms and at least one heteroatom selected from the group consisting of oxygen, nitrogen and sulfur; (i) a carboxyalkyl group, straight or branched chain, having 2 to 24 carbon atoms; (j) a carboxyaryl group having 7 to 34 carbon atoms; and (k) a heterocyclic group having 2 to 9 carbon atoms and at least one heteroatom selected from the group consisting of oxygen, sulfur and nitrogen; or any adjacent two of R3-R10 may together form a cycloalkyl group or heterocyclic group; and X1 and X2 are each independently selected from the group consisting of an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom and a nitrogen atom. Pharmaceutical compositions containing these compounds and the use thereof for the treatment of disorders of glucose metabolism are also disclosed.
L'invention concerne des composés de formule (I), dans laquelle R¿1? et R¿2? sont indépendamment choisis dans le groupe comprenant (a) un atome d'hydrogène; et (b) un groupe alkyle inférieur à chaîne droite ou ramifiée, renfermant 1 à 8 atomes de carbone; ou bien R¿1? et R¿2?, avec l'atome d'azote sur lequel ils sont fixés, forment ensemble un groupe hétérocyclique; R¿3?-R¿10? sont indépendamment choisis dans le groupe comprenant (a) un atome d'hydrogène; (b) un groupe alkyle à chaîne droite ou ramifiée, renfermant 1 à 24 atomes de carbone; (c) un groupe cycloalkyle renfermant 3 à 10 atomes de carbone; (d) un groupe alcényle, à chaîne droite ou ramifiée, renfermant 2 à 24 atomes de carbone, (e) un groupe cycloalcényle renfermant 4 à 10 atomes de carbone et une ou plusieurs doubles liaisons non adjacentes; (f) un groupe aryle renfermant 6 à 10 atomes de carbone; (g) un groupe aralkyle renfermant 7 à 34 atomes de carbone; (h) un groupe hétéroaryle renfermant 4 à 9 atomes de carbone et au moins un hétéroatome choisi dans le groupe comprenant l'oxygène, l'azote et le soufre; (i) un groupe carboxyalkyle, à chaîne droite ou ramifiée, renfermant 2 à 24 atomes de carbone; (j) un groupe carboxyaryle renfermant 7 à 34 atomes de carbone; et (k) un groupe hétérocyclique renfermant 2 à 9 atomes de carbone et au moins un hétéroatome choisi dans le groupe comprenant l'oxygène, le soufre et l'azote; ou bien parmi R¿3?-R¿10?, deux éléments adjacents forment ensemble un groupe cycloalkyle ou un groupe hétérocyclique; et X¿1? et X¿2? sont indépendamment choisis dans le groupe comprenant un atome d'oxygène, un atome de soufre et un atome d'azote. L'invention concerne également des compositions pharmaceutiques contenant lesdits composés, ainsi que leur utilisation pour traiter les troubles du métabolisme glucidique.
