An improved lubricant is provided by combining ester lubricants with alkylated polyaromatic lubricants. The combination provides a lubricant that exhibits the oxidation/varnish control of alkylated naphthenics, while at the same time providing the high temperature stability of the ester-type lubricants. A wide variety of ester lubricants can be used such as polyol esters, dimeracid esters and the like. Preferably, the alkylated aromatic lubricant has a viscosity greater than 25 up to 220 cSt measured at 40°C. Greases can also be formed using this
On décrit un lubrifiant amélioré obtenu par combinaison de lubrifiants à base d'ester avec des lubrifiants à base de composés polyaromatiques alkylés. La combinaison fournit un lubrifiant qui présente la stabilité à l'oxydation et la réduction de la formation de vernis et de dépôts qui caractérisent les composés naphténiques alkylés, tout en possédant la stabilité à température élevée qui caractérise les lubrifiants à base d'ester. Une grande variété de lubrifiants à base d'ester peuvent être utilisés comme les esters de polyol, les esters d'acide dimériques et autres produits semblables. De préférence, le lubrifiant à base de composé aromatique alkylé possède une viscosité allant de 25 à 220 cSt mesurée à 40 degrés C. On peut également produire des graisses de cette façon.
