Disclosed is a method of producing a synthetic resin film for laminates. The method comprises impregnating a substrate with a thermosetting resin composition comprising an uncured thermosetting resin and a low profile additive and drying and, optionally partially curing the impregnated substrate. The low profile additive is typically inert spherical particles or powder. The method of the present invention produces synthetic resin film having improved scratch resistance.
L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un film en résine synthétique pour produits stratifiés. Le procédé consiste à imprégner un substrat avec une composition de résine thermodurcissable, qui comprend une résine thermodurcissable non polymérisée et un additif discret, et à sécher puis à éventuellement polymériser en partie le substrat imprégné. L'additif discret se présente normalement sous forme de particules sphériques ou de poudre. Le procédé de la présente invention permet de produire un film en résine synthétique possédant une meilleure résistance au grattage.
