A plant for spinning multi-coloured threads comprises a plurality of extruders (10, 12, 14; 101; 102, 103) and a spinning beam (16) with spinning nozzle packs or spinnerets (D1 through D18; 8) which each generate a creel thread. The creel threads can be combined in groups in processing positions P1 through P6, or according to the Figures 6 through 9 can be combined for forming multi-coloured threads. An exchangeable or rotatable distributor element (Fig. 2b, Figures 3 and 4; Figures 6 through 12.2) is provided at a connecting point (VSt) for connecting ducts for melted material from the extruders to ducts for melted material to the spinning nozzle packs or spinnerets (P1 through P6; 8). The plant configuration can be changed by exchanging the distributor element e.g. in such a manner that at least in one group all threadsshow the same colour.
