The present invention relates to synthetic vegetal melanins obtained by polymerization of plant polyphenols, alone or in combination with the eumelanin precursors. Chemical and enzymatic methods for production of said synthetic vegetal melanins are also claimed, as well as their use for the manufacturing of cosmetic and pharmaceutical compositions.
L'invention concerne des mélanines végétales synthétiques, obtenues par polymérisation de polyphénols de plantes, seuls ou combinés avec des précurseurs de l'eumélanine.
