A system (1) for removing a pharmaceutical product from a reservoir (4) has an ampoule (6) in which a piston (8) which is movable therein is arranged and an adaptor (2) which has in a longitudinal direction a reservoir connector (10) and an ampoule connector (14) for coupling to the ampoule (6). The ampoule connector (14) has at least one locking mechanism which, in a side wall, comprises a resilient element (20). The resilient element (20) corresponds to a portion of the side wall which extends along the periphery thereof, and at opposing ends merges with the side wall.
