A mechanism for supporting the decision on performing a communication connection changeover of a subscriber terminal in a wireless communication network, in particular in a multiple band WLAN, is proposed. The subscriber terminal is able to communicate with an access node on two or more frequency bands. AP related communication information are detected which comprises, besides information indicating a multiple band capability, a traffic load, a frequency band coverage and/or a frequency channel information. The communication information are broadcasted, for example, by means of the AP beacon frame, processed and used for a decision on a communication connection changeover of the subscriber terminal.
On propose un mécanisme permettant de supporter la décision de réaliser un changement de raccordement de communication d'un teminal d'abonné dans un réseau de transmission sans fil, en particulier dans une bande multiple WLAN. Le terminal d'abonné peut communiquer avec un noeud d'accès sur deux bandes de fréquence ou plus. On détecte l'information de communication associée au point d'accès (AP) qui comprend, sans compter l'information indiquant des possibilités multiples de bande, une charge de trafic, une couverture de bande de fréquence et/ou une information de canal de fréquence. Les informations de communication sont diffusées, par exemple, au moyen de trame de signalisation de l'AP, traitées et employées pour une décision sur un transfert de raccordement de communication de terminal d'abonné.
