Systems and kits for treating targeted tissue adjacent a physiological vascular network (e.g., one that carries blood) contoured to the general shape and size of the targeted tissue is provided. The systems and kits comprise a source of electrically conductive embolic material and a source of electrical energy. The embolic material is configured for embolizing in a region of the vascular network to form a vascular electrode array that assumes a geometry of the embolized region of the vascular network. The system may comprise a delivery catheter configured for delivering for delivering the embolic material within the vascular network to form the vascular electrode array, and further configured for applying electrical energy to the vascular electrode array to therapeutically conduct electrical energy into a region of the targeted tissue adjacent the embolized region of the vascular network. The kit comprises a separate delivery probe and tissue ablation probe for performing these functions.
