In accordance with the teachings described herein, systems and methods are provided for accessing contact information on a communication device. A communication device may be used to send and receive communications over a communication network. A memory module may be used to store data and program information, including a plurality of contact records. A processor may be used to store and retrieve data in the memory module, execute programs stored in the memory module, and cause the communication device to transmit and receive communications over the communication network. A contact information logic unit program may be stored in the memory module and executed by the processor. The contact information logic unit program may be used to cause the communication device to identify a network identifier in a communication, compare the network identifier with contact information in the plurality of contact records stored in the memory module to identify contact information matching the network identifier, and if contact information is identified in more than one contact record matching the network identifier, then display a contact record field than is associated with each of the identified contact records.
