A system and method for determining an intent of a sender (110) in transmitting electronic information' (120) in order to prevent unauthorized dissemination of electronic information is disclosed. The system and method facilitate cost-effective handling of dissemination events and comprise a traffic analyzer (150) configured to analyze descriptors of the electronic information and parameters of the transmission of the electronic information in order to determine the intent of the sender. By determining the intent o.f the sender, it is possible to effectively quarantine- (170) the electronic information before it is disseminated.
Système et procédé permettant de déterminer l'intention d'un envoyeur qui transmet des informations électroniques afin d'empêcher la dissémination non autorisée d'informations électroniques. Ce système et ce procédé, qui facilitent le traitement efficace au plan coût d'événements de dissémination, font intervenir un analyseur de trafic conçu pour analyser des descirpteurs d'informations électroniques et des paramètres de transmission de ces informations dans le but de déterminer l'intention de l'envoyeur. En déterminant l'intention de l'envoyeur, il est possible de bloquer (mise en quarantaine) efficacement des informations électroniques avant leur dissémination.
