Apparatus and methods for automatically spraying a mist of mold release into the confined space (25) between a tire (12) and an inflatable bladder (16) in a tire molding machine (10) so that the mold release covers the outer surface of the inflatable bladder and/or the interior surface of the tire and does not get onto the walls of the mold (14). In addition, bladder release is pre- sprayed onto the interior surface of said green tire prior to positioning said green tire within said tire mold.

Cette invention concerne un appareil et des procédés qui permettent de vaporiser automatiquement un brouillard de lubrifiant de moule dans un espace confiné (25) situé entre un pneu (12) et une vessie gonflable (16) dans une machine de moulage de pneus (10). Cette vaporisation se fait de manière à ce que le lubrifiant de moule recouvre la surface externe de la vessie gonflable et/ou la surface interne du pneu, ceci sans pour autant atteindre les parois du moule (14). Un agent de démoulage de vessie est en outre préalablement vaporisé sur la surface interne du pneu cru avant que ce dernier ne soit placé à l'intérieur du moule pour pneus.
