A system and method to automatically implement quality control of a clinical diagnostic process are disclosed. Upon generation of an internal error Hag, a confirmation rule automatically checks a questionable patient statistic alert by testing a quality control specimen, applying event-related quality control rules to the results of that test, and provides an alert to the operator only upon a confirmed patient signal T he automatic quality control process thus eliminates the uncertainty of operator reaction to an alert signal and implements the quality control run automatically, without operator intervention.
Un système et un protocole de contrôle qualité automatique d'une procédure de diagnostic clinique sont décrits. Après génération d'une erreur interne Hag, une règle de confirmation vérifie automatiquement une alerte statistique contestable du patient par analyse d'un spécimen de contrôle qualité, application des règles de contrôle qualité liées à l'événement aux résultats de l'analyse, et génération d'une alerte à destination de l'opérateur uniquement après un signal patient confirmé. Le protocole de contrôle qualité automatique élimine ainsi l'incertitude liée à la réaction de l'opérateur à un signal d'alerte et déclenche automatiquement l'exécution du contrôle qualité, sans intervention de l'opérateur.
