A system and method for automating a business procedure is disclosed. The workflow management system comprises an administrator, a process designer, a workflow database, a process engine and a web client. The system also interacts with a form generator and a business application program. The system first analyzed the business process and models the process as a combination of detailed activities. The system assigns the properties to each activity according to the business rules. After modeling the business process, the process engine allocates the workitems to the participant once the process is initiated. The system can automate a very complicated business process and can be expanded and adapted to the ever-changing business environments.
La présente invention concerne un système et un procédé permettant d'automatiser une procédure d'une entreprise. Ce système de gestion du déroulement des opérations comprend un administrateur, un concepteur de processus, une base de données de déroulement des opérations, un moteur de processus et un client web. Ce système interagit aussi avec un générateur de forme et un programme d'application d'entreprise. Ce système analyse d'abord le processus de l'entreprise et modélise ce processus sous forme de combinaison d'activités détaillées. Ce système attribue les propriétés à chaque activité en fonction des règles d'entreprise. Après la modélisation du processus d'entreprise, le moteur de processus attribue les éléments de travail au participant lorsque le processus est lancé. Ce système peut automatiser un processus d'entreprise très complexe et il peut être extrapolé et adapté aux environnements des entreprises en perpétuelle évolution
