A back-end clinical definition is designed using a back-end clinical data management system (CDMS) (8-1). The back-end clinical definition is automatically converted into a Remote Data Entry (front-end) study definition (32-1). The front-end study definition is transferred to a remote computer hosting a front-end RDE product where it is used to regulate the acquisition of clinical data (1508). During the back-end clinical definition to front-end study definition conversion process, a conversion map is created (1706). The conversion map allows for the automated conversion of clinical data acquired using the front-end RDE product to a format that can be read by the back-end CDMS (1706). Clinical data is retrieved from remote computers hosting a front- end RDE product in an automated manner without manual back-end clinical definition/front-end study definition conflict resolution (1508).
L'invention concerne une définition clinique arrière conçue à l'aide d'un système de gestion de données cliniques arrière (CDMS). La définition clinique est automatiquement convertie en définition d'études (frontale) de télésaisie de données. La définition d'études frontale est transférée à un ordinateur distant hébergeant un produit RDE frontal, dans lequel celle-ci est utilisée pour régler l'acquisition des données cliniques. Au cours du processus de conversion de la définition clinique arrière en définition d'étude frontale, une carte de conversion est créée. Cette carte de conversion permet de convertir automatiquement les données cliniques acquises au moyen du produit RDE frontal en un format lisible par le DCMS arrière. Les données cliniques sont extraites automatiquement des ordinateurs distants hébergeant un produit RDE frontal sans que soit appliquée une résolution de conflit manuelle entre la définition clinique arrière et définition d'étude frontale.
