A system and method for bridging a group of wireless and wireline subscribers when originating or terminating calls allows one or more members of the group to participate in a conference call. When originating or terminating a call, the system alerts each wireless and wireline subscriber group member of the call and allows each member to choose whether to participate in the call. The system then establishes a conference call between the participating members.
