A method for data sensitive filtering in patient database searches includes providing (71) a search criteria comprising one or more search locator fields, determining a retrieval formula from said search criteria that maximizes error tolerance in said search criteria while satisfying a predefined response time requirement, retrieving (72) said candidate records from said database, wherein if no retrieval formula can be found to satisfies said response time requirements, requesting additional search criteria, scoring (73) each said candidate record by comparing a search criteria locator field with a corresponding retrieved record field, determining (75) whether said score of said candidate record exceeds a predefined threshold, and if said candidate score does exceed said threshold, adding said candidate record to a list of records to be returned in response to said search criteria.
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant le filtrage sensible aux données des recherches dans les bases de données de patients, consistant à fournir (71) un critère de recherche comprenant un ou plusieurs champs de localisation de recherche, à définir à partir dudit critère de recherche une formule d'extraction permettant d'augmenter au maximum la tolérance d'erreur dans ledit critère de recherche, tout en répondant à une exigence prédéfinie en matière de temps de réponse, à extraire (72) lesdits fichiers candidats de ladite base de données, et si aucune formule d'extraction répondant aux exigences de temps de réponse ne peut être identifiée, à demander un critère de recherche additionnel, à évaluer (73) chacun desdits fichiers candidats en comparant un champ de localisation de recherche avec un champ correspondant d'un fichier extrait, à déterminer (75) si le résultat de l'évaluation du fichier candidat dépasse un seuil prédéterminé, et si le résultat de l'évaluation du candidat ne dépasse pas un seuil prédéfini, à ajouter le fichier candidat à une liste de fichiers à renvoyer en réponse audit critère de recherche.
