The present invention re-lates to a system and a method for determining the power of an artificial intraocular lens (IOL) in situ. The invention furthermore relates to a system and a method for predicting the optical outcome of IOL surgery. Use of the system may provide prevention, treatment, or amelioration of diseases and disorders affecting the lens of the eye and which may benefit from IOL surgery. More-over, the invention relates to a computer-readable medium for implementing such a system on a computer.

Linvention concerne en outre un système et un procédé de prédiction du résultat optique dune chirurgie LIO. Lutilisation du système de linvention permet la prévention, le traitement ou lamélioration daffections et de troubles touchant le cristallin et susceptibles de bénéficier dune chirurgie LIO. Linvention concerne également un support lisible par ordinateur permettant de mettre en uvre un tel système sur un ordinateur.
