Described herein is a graphics apparatus for displaying video data on a display system having N monitors each containing a screen. The apparatus includes a central controller for receiving from a graphics card a video signal. The central controller divides at least a portion of the video signal into N video streams, each video stream sent to an associated one of the N monitors for producing images on the N screens.

La présente invention concerne un appareil graphique permettant d'afficher des données vidéo sur un système d'affichage comprenant N moniteurs chacun contenant un écran. L'appareil comporte un contrôleur central pour recevoir depuis une carte graphique un signal vidéo. Le contrôleur central divise au moins une partie du signal vidéo en N flux de données vidéo, chaque flux de données vidéo étant transmis vers un moniteur associé parmi les N moniteurs pour produire des images sur les N écrans.
