Power to a load in a fuel cell system is cycled between a high power level and a low power level. The cycled power levels are provided during a start-up phase of a fuel cell stack of the fuel system, such as during a cold start-up condition. During the high power level cycles, the power is delivered to a battery and/or other load, so that the battery is charged and/or the other load receives sufficient power during the start-up phase. During the low power level cycles, the battery can deliver power to the other load(s).

La présente invention concerne le cyclage de la puissance vers une charge dans un système de pile à combustible entre un niveau de puissance élevée et un niveau de puissance faible.
