The present invention relates to storing and manipulating customer purchasing information, particularly purchasing information by credit cards, debit cards, checks. A hierarchical organizational structure is created comprising a plurality of categories and sub-categories (see Fig. 1). The customer purchase information may then be retrieved according to user created links to generate customer preference information (112). The customer preference information may then be stored in a customer account, thereby allowing targeted information.
La présente invention concerne le stockage et le traitement d'informations relatives aux achats de consommateurs, et plus particulièrement aux achats par cartes de crédit, cartes de paiement et par chèques. On crée une structure d'organisation hiérarchique qui comprend une pluralité de catégories et de sous catégories (voir Fig. 1). On peut ensuite retrouver les informations relatives aux achats des consommateurs d'après des liens créés par l'utilisateur de façon à générer des informations (112) concernant les préférences des consommateurs. Ces informations concernant les préférences des consommateurs peuvent ensuite être stockées dans un compte consommateur, permettant ainsi d'obtenir des informations ciblées.
